THIS LUXURIOUS BRASSERIE SERVES A LAVISH BREAKFAST SPREAD

Head to Novikov Café at Dubai Mall for an exquisite breakfast.

We believe in starting our day with a breakfast spread fit for a king-but we don’t always have the luxury of time to really sit and enjoy the most important meal of the day. We did however find a day to block out a few hours from the morning to try out the latest breakfast offerings at the Mediterranean brasserie Novikov Café.

Head Chef Riccardo Stevan’s breakfast offering is a carefully curated selection for every palette-from flaky, oven-fresh viennoiseries to elegant fruit bowls and decadent, caviar-laden eggs.

The impressive dishes include the exquisite Cinnamon Roll French Toast wickedly crisp on the outside with a luscious, yielding interior, perfectly matched with blueberry compote and Greek yoghurt and classic English Breakfast-Scotch eggs with a delicate golden shell and runny yolk, chicken sausages, mushrooms, beans, crispy beef bacon.

Drawn to the gourmet Eggs Royale, we were delighted with our choice that was a harmonious fusion of smoked salmon, perfectly poached eggs, rich Hollandaise sauce and topped with a lavish touch of caviar. An absolute treat! In the savory we also picked the Avocado Toast that came topped with poached eggs and the signature velvety Hollandaise sauce that we generously pored all over the eggs!

If you are a fan of sweet dishes at breakfast then the French Toast made with brioche and served with vanilla ice cream will satisfy your craving. We picked the traditional Syrniki Pancakes that are slightly sweet, cottage cheese pancakes paired with berry compote and sour cream are a must-try! We tucked them in with a strong flat white that helped us shake off the food coma we could feel ourselves drifting into.

As it is still warm outside we were seated in the stylish main dining room, which pays homage to the vibrancy of the glamorous Mediterranean region. But once the weather improves in the next few weeks we will be booking a table on the charming sun-drenched terrace, adorned with lush foliage and offering views of the iconic Burj Khalifa Lake.
